Hang-on filter for tanks and aquariums. Monarka 500 is the new hang-on filter by Wave. The pump, is extremely silent, it draws the water from the aquarium, into the external pump and then is pumped throught the biologicalfilter. The mechanical and chemical filtering is done by the filter/carbon cartridge, while the biological filtering is dealt with by the black sponge. The inner cartridges are easy to replace. With a well thought out and unique design for the impellor, Monarka 500 is able to re-start automatically after the power has b een turned off for servicing. In order to increase the biologicalability, is possible to replace the black sponge with the glaX stone or glaX ring mini. For freshwater and marine aquariumscarbon cartridge (mechanical/chemical filtration) and by the black coarse sponge (biological filtration).Monarka 500 can be combined with Monarka 500 prefilter.Sizes 130(l)x149(w)x269(h) mm.
